The Standard, Hua Hin Turns Five With BDXY, Beach Brunch and a Festive Lineup

2026-11-02

If a year-end beach break in Thailand is on the cards, The Standard, Hua Hin has filled its calendar from early November to New Year's Eve. The resort turns five on 1 December, and it is marking the date with a fashion launch, an anniversary beach brunch and a run of festive dinners and parties that ends with fireworks on the sand.

BDXY arrives with a sunset dinner on 7 November

The newest label at The Standard Shop is BDXY, a UK resort-wear brand founded by actor and singer Luke Evans with Fran Tomas and Christopher Brown. Its look leans on simple silhouettes and Riviera-style holiday dressing.

To launch it, the resort is hosting BDXY Dine at Dusk at Praça, its beachfront Thai izakaya, on Saturday 7 November from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Evans and Tomas are expected to attend. The buffet covers oysters, seafood, cold cuts, cheeses and Thai bites, with DJ James Clark, live percussion, a saxophonist, a fire show and a round of Not Your Standard Bingo. Tickets are THB 1,600++ per person.

A fifth-anniversary beach brunch on 29 November

Ahead of the anniversary itself, the resort's Brunch n' Beach series gets a birthday edition on Sunday 29 November. It runs on the Beachfront Lawn from 1pm to 5pm, then carries on as a beachside after-party until 8pm. The menu lists oysters, crispy porchetta, roasted Black Angus beef and Thai dishes, with house and disco sets from Riri and Dopaliscious and DJ Rujaya at sunset. It is THB 2,100++ per person.

What is on in December

New Year's Eve: The Final Feast and a beach countdown

After dinner the party moves to the beach from 9pm to 2am, with sets from Martin Everitt x Bonita Everitt and DJ Pichy x DJ Tul of Apartment Khunpa, and fireworks at midnight. Entry is free for New Year's Eve dinner guests. Everyone else pays THB 650 net in advance or THB 850 net at the door.
