Make Your Own Sundae at Museum of Ice Cream This September
The September school holidays are a scramble for something to do that is not another afternoon on a screen. Museum of Ice Cream Singapore has an answer for the sweet toothed: its Ice Cream Making Class is back for three days only, a hands-on session where guests step behind the counter and build a sundae of their own.
Three days, six sessions
The class runs on 7 September (Monday), 9 September (Wednesday) and 11 September (Friday), with sittings at 11am and 2.30pm each day. Every session lasts 45 minutes and is led by the museum's Scoop Professors, who walk guests through making classic flavours from scratch, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla or mint, before letting them finish with crunchy inclusions and colourful toppings. Everyone leaves with a Scoop Master Certificate.
It is built for ice cream lovers of any age, and mixes a bit of play with the history and science behind how the treat is actually made. Parents are welcome to join their child for the workshop itself.
What the ticket gets you
The Ice Cream Making Class Ticket Bundle is S$63 and includes entry to Museum of Ice Cream after the workshop, so the visit does not end at the counter. The 60,000 square foot museum runs on multi sensory installations and unlimited treats, the kind of place made for wandering through once the sundae is done. One thing worth noting before you book: an accompanying adult who wants to explore the museum after the class will need to buy a separate museum ticket.

A regular fixture, not a one off
Museum of Ice Cream has leaned into hands-on and seasonal moments for a while now. Earlier this year it handed out free cones on National Ice Cream Day, and the September class is the school holiday version of that same idea: give people a reason to make the trip and something to take home from it.
