Alva KL's Skyline Christmas Menu: RM258++ on the 99th Floor
Alva KL, the restaurant on Level 99 of Ascott Star KLCC, is putting on a set Christmas dinner this year called Skyline Christmas. It costs RM258++ per person, which means service charge and tax are added on top, and it is available from 15 November 2026. The pitch is the view as much as the food: the dining room looks straight out at the Petronas Twin Towers, Menara Kuala Lumpur and Merdeka Maybank Tower, the building most people still call Merdeka 118.
The menu was put together by Alva KL's Group Head Western Chef, Jeremy Wayne Theseira. It runs to four courses: two appetisers, one main picked from three, and a dessert. We were at the media preview last week, and the set is built around familiar festive comfort food rather than anything experimental, which suits a table of family or friends who want a proper sit-down Christmas meal without cooking it themselves.
What is on the Skyline Christmas menu
Both appetisers come to the table. The first is a roasted pumpkin soup served with garlic herb focaccia. The second is a prawn and avocado toast on a crispy croissant crostini, finished with cranberry gel.
For the main, each guest chooses one of three:
- Grilled MB8 wagyu striploin (160g) with truffle-infused potato mousseline, vine tomatoes and charred Brussels sprouts.
- Sous vide cod and tiger prawn roulade on risotto, with jumbo asparagus and a roasted red pepper coulis.
- Lamb tomahawk in a blend of spices, served with beetroot hummus.
Dessert is a cherry praline hazelnut dome, decorated as a Christmas bauble and brought out under a glass cloche.
Festive drinks, priced separately
Drinks are not part of the RM258++ set. Alva KL has a short festive list to go with it. On the non-alcoholic side there is the Winter Blush mocktail (rose, cranberry juice and citrus) at RM32 a glass, and a Copenhagen Sparkling Tea at RM88 a bottle, with notes of jasmine, chamomile and citrus. For those who drink, there is a Golden Noel cocktail made with rum, coconut juice and banana oleo at RM46 a glass, and a sparkling rose at RM228 a bottle.
How to book
Skyline Christmas starts on 15 November 2026. Alva KL has not given an end date, so if you have a specific night in mind, such as Christmas Eve, it is worth booking early given the size of a single dining room on a 99th floor. Reservations go through Alva KL's social media channels or by phone on +6010 303 0099, and more details are on the Alva KL website.
The restaurant is at Level 99, Ascott Star KLCC, 1 Lorong Yap Kwan Seng, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur. It opens for lunch from 12pm to 3pm and for dinner from 5pm to 1am.
