FamilyMart Malaysia Turns 10: Craft Coffee From RM0.99, FAMIMA by NIGO in December
FamilyMart Malaysia opened its first store on 11 November 2016, and it is marking ten years with a new brand concept, a new coffee range and a merchandise collection that is coming to Malaysia for the first time. The concept is called Life is Good with FamilyMart, and the company says it rests on three ideas: Good Choices, Good Quality and Good Moments. In practice, that means more food and drink on the shelves, a renewed focus on halal assurance, and more member rewards and collaborations.
The new concept was unveiled on 5 November 2026 at a week-long anniversary roadshow at Sunway Pyramid's Orange Concourse, which runs until Monday, 9 November. Visitors can sample the new menu items there and try the interactive zones.
Everyday Craft Coffee, from RM0.99 to start
The headline launch is Everyday Craft Coffee, a coffee range that FamilyMart says takes its cue from the Japanese idea of takumi, or careful craftsmanship. It comes in two new blends:
- Sumiyaki, inspired by traditional Japanese charcoal roasting, is the bold and roasty option, aimed at people who drink their coffee black.
- Kinu, which means "silk" in Japanese, is the smoother, more balanced blend, and the one FamilyMart suggests for lattes.
Introductory prices start from RM0.99. After the introductory period, prices start from RM3.90. FamilyMart has not said how long the introductory pricing lasts, so if you want to try both blends cheaply, sooner is better than later.
New on the food counter: oden broths and a boba soft serve
Oden FAMee pairs noodles with a choice of oden items and now comes with five broths: Classic Fishball, Sukiyaki, Laksa Kahwin, Creamy Mala and Tom Yum. FamilyMart's own pitch is one broth for each day of the working week.
On the dessert side, brown sugar boba arrives as a sofuto (soft serve) flavour for the first time, and the sea salt sofuto is coming back after customers asked for it. The rest of the ready-to-eat range, from onigiri and sandwiches to bento, pasta and oden, stays, and FamilyMart says it will keep adding to it.
On quality, FamilyMart says it works with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) across its central kitchens, logistics and in-store preparation counters, with ongoing staff training, to keep its food halal-certified.

FAMIMA by NIGO comes to Malaysia
For anyone who follows streetwear, this is the part to watch. The FAMIMA by NIGO Collection is the merchandise line curated by Japanese designer NIGO for FamilyMart in Japan, and this is the first time it is coming to Malaysia. Alongside it is Famibara, a new in-house collection made for Malaysian customers.
Both collections officially launch in December 2026. Until then, MY FamilyMart app members can preview them at the Mini Store at the Sunway Pyramid roadshow. Both are available only to app members, in limited quantities, so you will need the app if you want to buy anything from either line.
Anniversary deals and Member Day on 10 and 11 November
The anniversary offers run alongside the launch:
- RM10 anniversary bundles, including FamilyMart Collection chips and tea, among other value deals.
- A welcome e-voucher pack valued at RM100 for new users who download the MY FamilyMart app.
- Member Day on 10 and 11 November 2026, with deals for existing members starting from RM0.10.
Member Day lands right before the actual anniversary on 11 November, and on the same days as the 11.11 sales, so it is worth having the app set up before then.
