Hennessy and Jackson Wang Mark Mid-Autumn With Tea Serves

2026-08-29

Hennessy has unveiled a pair of limited-edition decanters for the Mid-Autumn Festival, created with its global ambassador Jackson Wang. The release brings two drinking cultures together, Chinese tea artistry and French cognac craft, under a campaign the house calls "Experience a New Kind of Ceremony."

The idea reframes Mid-Autumn, a festival built around reunion and shared moments, as a living ritual rather than a fixed tradition. Hennessy describes it as a meeting of heritage and contemporary expression, carried through curated tea and cognac pairings and a set of modern serves.

Two limited editions

The V.S.O.P Limited Edition carries fluid lines and bold contrasts, with a moon motif patterned in tea leaves that the house says reflects the energy of liquid in motion. It is pitched for lively gatherings and contemporary serves.

The X.O Limited Edition is the more restrained of the two, a deep amber palette with subtle silver accents inspired by fine tea culture. Hennessy frames it for intimate, elevated moments, the point at which the two cultures converge.

How Jackson Wang drinks it

The collaboration leads with serves rather than tasting notes. Jackson Wang's own preference for the V.S.O.P is easy to make at home: a measure of the cognac with a splash of refreshing oolong tea over ice, which Hennessy describes as a bright, high-energy cocktail for gatherings.

The X.O gets a slower ritual. Pu'er tea is steeped, then frozen into a single stamped ice cube that melts into the cognac, an approach the house positions as an elevated way to sip the older blend.

The limited-edition V.S.O.P and X.O by Jackson Wang are being released in selected markets for the festival season. Hennessy has not published local retail pricing at launch.
