For Muslim diners in the Klang Valley who have wanted to try Eat Pizza’s one-handed Korean pizzas, there is finally a reason to head to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The outlet is now Halal-certified.
Eat Pizza’s Pavilion Bukit Jalil outlet earns JAKIM Halal certification
Eat Pizza, South Korea’s largest single-serving pizza chain, has received official Halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) for its Pavilion Bukit Jalil outlet. The certification was awarded in May 2026 and opens the full menu to Muslim diners at the outlet for the first time.
The brand, known in Korea as 피자먹다 or “pija meokda”, runs more than 130 outlets across Southeast Asia. It opened its first Malaysian outlet in Johor Bahru in November 2024 and its Klang Valley flagship at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in January 2025. Its two other Malaysian outlets, AEON Tebrau City in Johor Bahru and Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya, are working towards their own Halal certification in the months ahead.
One-handed pizzas, ready in about five minutes
Eat Pizza is built around a quick-service idea: signature 25cm rectangular pizzas that are easy to eat one-handed, freshly made to order and ready in as fast as five minutes. Each one uses high-protein dough, extra virgin olive oil and 100% natural cheese, and is filling enough to work as a meal on its own, whether for a quick lunch or a grab-and-go dinner.
The ‘Annyeong Halal – Seyo!’ limited-time menu
To mark the certification, Eat Pizza is running an “Annyeong Halal – Seyo!” menu at all three of its Malaysian outlets from 20 July to 31 August 2026:
- Daging Rendang Kaw-Kaw Pizza (RM15.80): fragrant, slow-cooked rendang beef, rich and spicy.
- Satay Smokey Pizza (RM15.80): smoky satay chicken with a nutty peanut sauce.
- Curry Puff, 5 pieces (RM6.80): crispy golden puffs with a curry filling.
- D’Bandung (RM4.80): a sweet, creamy rose syrup drink.
The wider menu
Beyond the new items, the Pavilion Bukit Jalil menu runs from mild to bold. Options include the Korean Spicy Chicken Pizza (RM15.80), Sweet Bulgogi Pizza (RM15.80), Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (RM16.80), Korean Hawaiian Pizza (RM15.80), Crispy Potato Chicken Pizza (RM14.80) and the 100% Real Cheese Pizza (RM11.80).
Korean-style sides round things out, including Gochujang Mac & Cheese (RM11.80), Chicken Slice Corn Cheese (RM10.80) and the mildly spicy Spicy Tteokbokki (RM13.80).
Where to find it
The Halal-certified outlet is at Lot 1.55.00, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and is open from 10am to 10pm daily. The AEON Tebrau City and Paradigm Mall outlets keep the same hours but are not yet Halal-certified. More details are at eatpizza.my.
