A New Swim Club and 12 Restaurants at CROSSROADS Maldives

This month it turns The Marina @ CROSSROADS into what it describes as the region's most diverse collection of restaurants and bars in one oceanfront spot, and it is adding a swim club to the mix.
SunRay Maldives officially debuts on 24 September as a new oceanfront social and swim club, built for relaxed daytime gatherings, playful programming and sunset socialising. It joins a line-up of 12 restaurants and bars, all a 15-minute complimentary boat ride from Male.
A three-restaurant crawl by one chef
The headline act for food lovers is Chef Dharshan Munidasa. The Ministry of Crab and Nihonbashi Blue are the only Sri Lankan restaurants ever ranked on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list, and his Carne Diem Grill made the 50 Best Discovery 2026 list. Guests can take in all three as one progressive dining experience: a signature starter at Nihonbashi Blue, then the iconic Sri Lankan mud crab at Ministry of Crab, and dessert at Carne Diem Grill.
More reasons to hop between islands
From 1 October, guests staying at SAii Lagoon Maldives or Hard Rock Hotel Maldives can extend the journey with a complimentary shuttle boat to Hadaba at SO/ Maldives, where flavours inspired by the Levant meet an oceanfront setting and sunset views. Hadaba was named the Maldives' Best Hotel Restaurant by the World Culinary Awards.
The wider collection spans Thai, Cantonese, Indian and Japanese cuisines, while Hard Rock Cafe brings American classics and live music.
