Why it is our number one: We consider this the essential late-night dessert hangout in Bangsar. Its commitment to chewy, mochi-textured gelato and the unique cinnamon roll hybrids makes it a standout for those who want more than just a standard scoop.

Why it made the list: We rank this as a necessary stop for traditionalists. It is the specific destination for those searching for a well-executed almond sugee cake, a heritage dessert that is increasingly hard to find in modern cafes.

Why it made the list: We rank this as the go-to spot for canelés in the city. Since few places in KL master this difficult pastry, Burrow is our choice for anyone who prefers sophisticated, bite-sized French sweets that aren't overly sugary.

It’s a muslim owned cafe with canelés! Not many places in KL have canelés, here is a nice place to try.. I love the deserts here as most of them are not too swe
People post about these places plenty. What they post about is not dessert, so they are not ranked above, and we would rather say that than pad the list.
