Why it is our number one: This is the ultimate Bangsar destination for those who want more than just a standard rice set. Go for the incredible variety of daily-special vegetable thosais and the pillowy appams, even if the banana leaf rice itself is occasionally outshone by the snacks.

Where people do not agree: Parking is challenging in Bangsar; The side pickle (some kind of pickle) was not liked by some; The taste of briyani (chosbiani) rice is very strong; white rice may be better for curry mixing
