Museum of Ice Cream Singapore Turns 5, Free Return Entry
If you have stepped inside the Museum of Ice Cream's pink home in Dempsey at any point in the last few years, Singapore's dessert-themed attraction has a birthday gift for you: a free return visit. The museum turns five this month, and it is marking the milestone by inviting eligible past guests back through its doors at no charge.
The Museum of Ice Cream is an interactive, sweet-themed attraction built around colourful installations, its well-known sprinkle pool and, naturally, plenty of ice cream. It has been a fixture at Dempsey since 2021.
Who gets a free return ticket
Anyone who visited the Museum of Ice Cream Singapore between 1 August 2021 and 30 June 2026 is eligible for a complimentary General Admission ticket to come back. It is the museum's way of thanking the guests who have filled its rooms over the years, and it lands alongside a one-day birthday celebration on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
What is happening on 29 August
The birthday runs as an all-day affair at the museum, open from 1pm to 5.30pm. Guests can look forward to:
- Unlimited ice cream treats across up to 19 flavours throughout the museum
- Complimentary face painting, glitter tattoos and a roaming balloon sculptor
- A live storytelling session by a local children's author from 4pm to 5pm, with limited slots
To lean into the party mood, the museum is encouraging visitors to turn up dressed in white or pink.
Five years in Dempsey
Since opening its doors in 2021, the Museum of Ice Cream Singapore has welcomed more than half a million guests to its Loewen Road site. Along the way it has picked up Klook's Best in Experience Award in 2023 and a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award.
How to plan your visit
The museum sits at 100 Loewen Road, Singapore 248837. Full details on the anniversary celebration and how eligible returning visitors can claim the complimentary General Admission ticket are on the Museum of Ice Cream Singapore website. If you are mapping out the rest of your week, our guide to what is on around the region has more ideas for getting out of the house.
A free ticket and a room full of ice cream is a simple reason to revisit a spot you already enjoyed, and the 29 August celebration gives families a fixed date to plan a day around.
