Coway is a name most Malaysian homes know from its water and air purifiers. Now the brand is moving into the kitchen. To mark 20 years in Malaysia, Coway has launched its first ever refrigerator series, and Malaysia is the first market in the world to get it.
Two fridges, one debut
The new line-up has two models: the Coway Multi Door Refrigerator 551L and the Side-by-Side Refrigerator 715L. Coway is introducing them under the theme “A New Standard of Food Care”, positioning the range as part of its shift from wellness appliances into a fuller companion for the modern home.
For a brand built on clean water and clean air, food storage is a natural next step. Keeping produce fresh sits comfortably alongside the wellness story Coway has told Malaysian families for two decades.
See them at the Coway Innovation Fest
If you want to look before you decide, Coway is running the Coway Innovation Fest at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 16 to 19 July. The showcase includes interactive product experiences and live cooking demonstrations built around the new refrigerators.
The fridges are not the only thing on show. Coway is also using the fest to introduce the latest additions to its BEREX massage chair line-up, the BEREX Senno and the BEREX Senno Plus, so there is more than one reason to drop by.
Why it is worth a look
Malaysia being the first market globally to carry the range is a genuine talking point. It is not often that local shoppers get first access to a new product category from an established brand, and it signals how central Malaysia has become to Coway’s plans in the region.
The Coway Innovation Fest runs until 19 July at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, so there is a short window this weekend to see the new refrigerators and the BEREX chairs in person.
