Vietjet 9.9 Sale: KL to Vietnam Flights From RM268
Vietjet has opened a three-day 9.9 sale for Malaysian travellers, with one-way Eco fares starting from RM268 on flights from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The airline says that fare already includes taxes and fees.
On top of the Eco fares, the sale takes 22 percent off Deluxe base fares on international flights when travellers enter the promo code SALE99 at checkout.
When you can book and fly
The sale runs for three days, from 8 to 11 September 2026. The discounted fares apply to a long travel window, valid for flights from 10 September 2026 right through to 10 September 2027, which leaves room to plan around school holidays or a year-end break.

Vietjet is also widening its international network from October. The airline is adding new services from Hanoi to Almaty and Prague, along with a new Hanoi to Tainan route, extending its connections across Asia and beyond. For Malaysian travellers, a growing map out of Hanoi means more onward options once you land in Vietnam.
How it compares
Airline flash sales have become a regular fixture on the travel calendar. AirAsia MOVE ran a similar 9.9 Mega Sale this month with ringgit discounts across flights and hotels, and earlier in the year its 7.7 sale put fares to cities such as Tokyo from as little as RM77. Vietjet's offer is built around a fixed starting fare on two popular Vietnam routes rather than a platform-wide discount, so it suits travellers who already have Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City in mind.
