Starbucks Malaysia Drops a Mr. Men Little Miss Collection
Everyday coffee runs are about to get a lot more cheerful. Starbucks Malaysia has teamed up with the world of Mr. Men Little Miss for a Malaysia exclusive collection that brings the sunny, mischievous personalities of the classic characters to a playful range of collectible drinkware and merchandise.
Created by Roger Hargreaves, the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters have charmed generations with their simple shapes and big feelings, from the ever optimistic Little Miss Sunshine to a whole cast of colourful troublemakers. That same warmth carries across the new collection, where the familiar faces turn up as cheerful prints scattered like doodles across cream coloured cups.
Leading the lineup are reusable tumblers in soft cream, finished with bright pink and orange lids and dressed in Mr. Men Little Miss motifs of clouds, balloons and a beaming sun. Each one comes with a woven carry strap and a miniature Starbucks cup charm, the kind of detail that turns a daily commute companion into something you actually want to show off. There is also a standout Bearista bear cold cup, styled in a character print outfit and a little bucket hat with a straw, ready to become the centrepiece of any collector's shelf.
The fun does not stop at the merchandise. Selected outlets are getting into character too, with Starbucks Mr. Men Little Miss themed store takeovers at the Starbucks Mid Valley Kiosk and Starbucks Gurney Plaza in Penang. Both spaces have been dressed up so fans can step into the colourful world of their favourite characters and capture a few memorable photos along the way.
If you have been building a Starbucks collection, or you simply love a little nostalgia with your morning latte, this is one to catch early. Playful cafe tie ups tend to move quickly once the collectors arrive, much as we saw with recent Malaysian coffee launches from Luckin Coffee and Nespresso.
