At the centre stands a majestic golden horse atop a giant 走马灯 (Zǒu Mǎ Dēng) — a rotating carousel lantern featuring six colourful horses designed by art lecturers from Sunway University, symbolising joy and good fortune. Visitors can also draw their fortunes at the Fortune House of Blessings or capture festive memories at the Lanternlight Photobooth.
Adding a fresh, interactive twist to the celebrations, Sunway Pyramid collaborates with popular family content creators The Kuans. For the first time, sets from their Chinese New Year music videos — including That’s 马 Way, 通通好运来, Money Mari Mari, and 一起浪新年 — are recreated around the mall. Shoppers can film dance covers at each checkpoint, scan QR codes via the Sunway Super App, and redeem an exclusive Sunway Pyramid x SIS Huat Bag, with chances to win even more festive prizes.
The celebrations are further brought to life with festive bazaars, pop-up experiences offering CNY treats and hampers, and energetic performances on selected weekends and public holidays. Expect acrobatic lion dances and powerful drum showcases filling the mall with colour, rhythm, and festive cheer.
